He even teaches online classes to give students some practical experience on using chemistry as a science. He has started with some basics that give people an overview of the chemical concept. He uses this to give a feel for how much chemistry is needed to create any substance or object. He starts with what substances are and how they are formed and added to things we all use every day.Once this is understood, he explains how the atoms and molecules build up a substance and these are called chemical building blocks. Each chemical is made up of its building blocks, which he provides information on each one. This includes the element group that it belongs to, the substance's function, what it contains, and its lifetime.Since he is the one who created the chemical concept, he wants to show the secrets of the world to his students. How to Optimize Slow Work Days
How to Optimize Slow Work Days Image via pixabay.com Always have study materials on you While you may dread having a shift before a big test when you need the time for studying, you can still put in some studying time if you bring along materials to study with. Always go digital if you can so you have fewer papers to remember to bring and a lighter load. Look at pictures of your study guides or notes on Google Docs. Study concepts on Quizlet, which has a convenient mobile app for on-the-go studying. If you are planning on using your phone, tablet, or laptop, remember to comply with your jobs rules when it comes to using technology during your shift, regardless of how slow it is. If your job prohibits the use of technology during your shift, you can always bring along hard copies of things you need to study class readings, course notes, flashcards, etc. One of the biggest mistakes students can make is mistaking possible studying time as waste of time moments, such as slow days at work, breaks between classes, and commutes to and from school or work. Plan ahead Having a part-time job as a full-time college student encouraged me to effectively plan out my time there werent enough hours in the day and I always felt like I was falling behind in class or socially. Instead of continuing to struggle with balancing work, school, and my social life, I started to plan out my days, weeks, and months. I always carry my planner on me, allowing me to write any new plans that come up or things I need to buy from the store as I remember them. I often dont have a set time where I sit down and plan out my week, but I often do it when I have downtime at work. If you dont like the idea of carrying around a physical planner, you can always use the calendar app on your phone or the mobile app for Google Calendar to have your schedule on all of your devices, as long as you can access your account. Planning ahead does not have to be limited to figuring out what to do the next day make shopping lists or plan out an essay/assignment you need to do. Planning out things like essays saves you the time you would need to do it at home, helping you start it right away when you actually need to. Get ahead in work, but only when needed If its slow at work and you have already finished the tasks you need to do for the hour or shift, you may think that there is nothing to do at all. However, you can always get ahead to make it easier for you and/or your coworkers later on. If there are tasks for people later on in the day that you could complete when its slow, get them done early to save yourself the trouble later when there is the possibility that it could be busier than it is at the moment. Restock anything that needs it. Make copies for later. Draft and proofread any emails you need to send out later. When you are getting ahead in work, make sure it will be beneficial if its done earlier. If something needs to be done at a set time (changing something out every other hour, closing a machine down, sending out a reminder email), there is no use in getting ahead when it will have to be done again at a later time or if it will mess with another task later on. Take a breather It may sound weird to try to relax at work, but I often look forward to work when I feel overwhelmed with school. Its a chance to have a reason to step away from anything academic and still be somewhat productive as Im earning money while doing so. Work helps take your mind off of school and gives you some room to breathe, especially on a slow day. If you cant hang out with your friends because you are all busy with school or your own jobs, you can at least find comfort in talking to your coworkers who you hopefully have a friendly relationship with. If it really is a slow day at work, take advantage of the slow pace and relax while you can, knowing that once you get home you need to get back to studying.

Want A Paid Summer Internship Looksharp Can Help
Want A Paid Summer Internship Looksharp Can Help pixabay.com Successful interns tend to have already had experience with having internships in the past. That should be no surprise to anyone seeing as most companies and places love hiring people that have experience with being in the world of job and internship success. Having had experience means that you as an individual will have recommendations to back you up, if need be; you have people to speak on behalf of your skills and work ethic. A good number of top ranking, successful interns used an average of four different sources to find internships, Google being one of the top online sources; Looksharp was among the other internship sites that were used by approximately 38 percent of students. The phrase putting all your eggs in one basket is not something to rely on when delving into the internship search field. Successful students averaged nine applications in their search, while highly competitive students averaged at least 10 to 20 applications. The CEO of Looksharp, Andrew Maguire, even stated in the release that âgetting an internship is a job in and of itself.â You have to not lose that momentum during your internship hunting process or even after you get the job. The press release presented five stats from the Looksharp report explaining how students should approach their job hunts and what companies see: â¢Cross-train: Get skilled in more than one field. According to the report, more than half of students have incorporated computer science into their classes. â¢Start young: Donât wait until your senior year to get your first internship; the Looksharp report states nearly 75 percent of students already have internship experience by this year in school. â¢The more internships the better: Try to get as many internships as possible, throughout your school time. The report showed 24 percent of seniors who had three or more internships throughout their college career secured job offers prior to graduation. â¢Be flexible: Many students, especially seniors (more than 73 percent), are much more willing to relocate for a job, giving them a higher advantage. â¢Location, location, location: Look into cities that have a vast amount of paid internships, such as California, Idaho and Nebraska. Be aware of how you are handling your internship searches and always know places like Looksharp exist to make your search a little bit easier. Looksharp is here to help launch and jumpstart studentsâ careers, seeing as it is the largest internship and entry-level job marketplace in the U.S. Take advantage of the opportunities at hand it never hurts to give it a try!
What Is En Charge Chemistry?
What Is En Charge Chemistry? The term, 'En charge Chemistry' is actually a very important one for all aspiring Chemistry students. En is in fact one of the key ingredients in all of the categories that are defined in chemistry. En is actually the constituent of the elements and the compounds that comprise them.In chemistry it is not possible to separate the different elements from each other. Every atom of an element is a molecule, which can be called on. It is used to refer to the elemental content of the entire element. Thus, the elements are classified into different groups such as the alkali-metal group, alkaline earth group, earth, carbonic-acid group, sulphuric-acid group and the halogen group. In order to understand the concept of an en, it is important to note that it refers to the three elementary states of matter, namely the first state, which is in the solid form, second state which is the liquid and the third state which are the gas. There are several types of en, which are commonly used in chemistry. Among these are the cation, anion. The cation has to be distinguished from the anion. In other words, in the former the opposite charges are attracted to each other, while in the latter the opposite charges are repelled. One example of this is sodium, where the cation is the positive and the anion is the negative. In the anion, two electrons are being involved. However, in the cation, only one electron is involved. When the anion is oxidized, it forms positively charged ions which get deposited in its immediate surroundings.Similarly, the anion is oxidized when the electrons of the cation are substituted by protons. When the anion gets oxidized, two protons will get absorbed from the oxygen molecules. However, as the protons get discharged, the protons, which were originally present in the anion, are also released. This is known as the cation plus ion, or the additional ion.The remaining charge of the cation is provided by the neutrons of the hydrogen ato ms. These electrons are usually responsible for dissociating the positive and negative protons and thus making the cation and the anion. Thus, the anion is the stronger and the heavier. It is important to know that the anion is a compound which has a charge plus. The whole concept of charge is quite complicated but an en should be clarified. One should always remember that a compound with any excess of the charge must have either a positive or a negative charge.
Reasons to Choose a French Tutor
Reasons to Choose a French TutorWhen choosing a French tutor for your child, there are several things to consider. First, you will want to ask yourself why you would want to select a French tutor for your child. Perhaps you will be tutoring your child in French to better communicate with a friend or relative who speaks the language. Or maybe you will be tutoring your child to improve their language skills and you have tried traditional French classes but have not found them to be effective in teaching your child the basics of the language.French tutors will often come with experience in the language, and this is especially important if you are having trouble teaching your child the language on your own. It is best to use the services of a professional, since they will be able to give you excellent instruction and reinforce your own techniques. Also, you will want to make sure that they have years of experience, as this will help them to concentrate on what they are teaching your chil d.An important aspect of French tutoring is that it is English. You should never attempt to teach your child a language they do not understand. Once your child has started to learn the basics of the language, they will eventually want to speak to their friends in English. In addition, if your child is a beginner at learning a new language, you will want to start them off in a lesson with someone who knows the language well.If you have limited resources, English tutoring can be an excellent choice. There are several advantages to this, including that you do not need to devote much time to teaching your child; you do not need to worry about communication with your French teacher because they will also understand the language; and you will have access to a variety of learning materials, such as audio programs, games, etc. Some parents may consider French to be a less demanding language than English. This is especially true if your child has only been speaking it for a short period of ti me. French tutoring does not necessarily mean that your child will have to spend every day listening to instructions from a speaker in front of a class. If they are already listening to a book or listening to music in English, then French tutoring may not be necessary.Students who do not speak French will often find that there are many benefits to the practice of this language. Students can enjoy the physical activity and social interaction that it brings, and they can gain a better understanding of the language by listening to CDs and reading books in French. Aside from the fact that they are able to practice their language skills, students can also go to the movies, read books, or attend classes in French.French tutoring can help children who have begun to learn the language in order to improve their self-esteem. While there are many advantages to practicing the language in the classroom, for some children it is a matter of practicality. Before choosing a French tutor, consider th e reasons why you would choose them, as well as the benefits of working with a professional.
Are You Really Ready To Record Your Song Or Book A Vocal Session
Are You Really Ready To Record Your Song Or Book A Vocal Session Suzy S. Think youre ready to write your own song and record it? Songwriting can be an arduous process but seeing the final product is an amazing feeling. Read on for a helpful pre-recording checklist from Perth Amboy, NJ teacher Jeff S... Whether youre singing your own song or hiring a vocalist to sing on your demo or master, there are many layers of preparation needed to ensure optimum results. Some songwriters like to wing it and hope that things will magically work out because they picked a great studio or have good equipment or simply feel that their song is destined to become a huge hitor perhaps because they dont want to risk the vocal performance sounding too rehearsed and stiff. But that mindset, in my opinion, falls under the categories of foolishness, laziness, or wishful thinking. The fact is, there are several questions you need to ask yourself before the recording session begins and prior to a singer stepping behind a mic to cut their vocal. Your sessions will go a lot more smoothly and successfully if you take the time to put yourself and your song through a series of questions. After you write your song, heres what to consider before recording it and/or booking vocal sessions: Whats the song structure? Is it a Verse/Chorus song? Verse/Bridge? Does it have a solo section? Trust meits really worth determining the structure well in advance of the session. A little planning time now will save you studio time, money, and aggravation later. Whats the tempo? I would urge you to pinpoint a BPM (beats per minute) setting before you start recording a single note. You can use a metronome to do this. What kind of groove do you want the drums to have? Steady? Relaxed? Frenetic? Edgy? Sparse? Busy? Acoustic? Electric? Electronic? Do you need percussion, too? How long is the song? Have you timed it out (including intro and fade ending)? If it comes in at over five minutes, you should at least consider doing a radio edit of the long version that puts it between 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 minutes. Time out your song prior to recording it. Radio and many other end-users for your recording usually dont respond well to epic-length tracks. Whats the style? Pop? Rock? Country? RB? Hip-Hop? If you dont know, you would be wise to get a handle of it before setting foot in the studio. Whats your instrumentation going to be? Are you tracking with live players (and most importantly, are you going to need a live drummer?) or doing a MIDI recording? If youre using live players, you need to get all your money matters in order prior to booking the session. Whats your budget for this demo or master? (Note: if youre doing the recording at your own studio and youre playing and singing everything yourself, then you dont have to worry about this one.) Whats the best key for this particular song? Determining the key that matches the emotion or storyline is crucial. Once you know that, you can ask the singer youve selected if they can sing comfortably in that key. Have a conversation with the singer beforehand about their vocal range and comfort keys. If they cant reach the notes needed, you will likely need to seek out a different singer or change the key. Is your singer familiar with the song? If youre not singing on your own song demo or master, make sure to get your vocalist some form of rough recording of the song so they can get acquainted with it beforehand. This way they wont be coming into the vocal session cold and eat up a lot of unnecessary studio time. Consider recording a scratch vocal (i.e. usually a songwriters one- or two-take guide vocal that conveys the melody and the mood to the singer). What mood do you want the singer to evoke? Heartbroken? Energized? Reflective? Angry? Happy? Is this recording intended to be a demo or master? For example, should it be a broadcast-quality recording that can be used in film, TV, or a top-notch album? If its a master, then everyones performance must be great (if not perfect) and the recording quality has to be excellent. Thats a lot of stuff to think out and plan for, but it will be well worth the time you spend. I hope it leads you to many great recordings and vocal sessions. How to Make Your Boss Notice and Respect You Without Becoming a Sycophant - Introvert Whisperer
Introvert Whisperer / How to Make Your Boss Notice and Respect You â" Without Becoming a Sycophant - Introvert Whisperer How to Make Your Boss Notice and Respect You â" Without Becoming a Sycophant Many introverts find it hard to be noticed and respected in the workplace. They donât typically gloat about their accomplishments, and theyâre less likely to be the ones to volunteer to deliver big presentations. This humble reservation doesnât need to work against an introvert â" it gives them the ability to demonstrate their worth through action, where it counts the most. If youâre an introvert attempting to command the professional respect you deserve, there are a few ways you can comfortably achieve it. Immerse Yourself in Company Culture Talking the talk is just as important as walking the walk. If itâs unclear to others that youâre doing either, they may not know where you stand. Show your company that you value its culture by participating in its events and offerings. If your company has an employee wellness program, utilize it. Participate in potluck lunches and attend the company picnic. Wear your silly hat for hat day, and contribute (financially or by volunteering your time) to the charities your company supports. Your presence is enough, whether or not youâre chatting up a storm or becoming overtly friendly with your coworkers. Take Advantage of Your Empowerment If youâve been working for your company for a while, youâve likely been empowered or trusted to do certain things or make autonomous decisions. This is the best thing that can happen to an introverted professional. If you donât need to ask or navigate through the red tape before you take it upon yourself to complete a project early or put a creative twist on an old routine, youâd be foolish to let the opportunity slip through your fingers. How great would it be if your boss asked for a status check on a deadline or a project, and all you needed to say is âItâs already completed if youâd like to review itâ? Keep a Close Eye on the Competition Read as many industry-specific blogs as you possibly can. Youâll always know what new innovations and techniques may affect the way you work. Youâll also know how these innovations can affect your competition, and you can begin drafting up ideas to help you stay ahead of the game. Youâll also want to know when your competition posts job openings, because this may indicate that theyâre expanding. They might even attempt to poach top performers at your company, and having that foresight can help management prepare. Keep Learning A continuing quest for knowledge shows your boss that youâre ambitious. If you keep learning new skills or take advantage of your companyâs tuition reimbursement scheme, your boss will see that youâre willing to put in the work necessary for a promotion. Some people verbally hint around at wanting to take the leap, but they donât put in the work necessary to be considered for the job. If youâre taking initiative in your actions, nothing will resonate more clearly. Aim for Synchronicity Your boss likely has a core set of professional values and preferred ways of doing things. Not all of these methods will resonate with your personal work style, but what about the ones that do? If your boss has great habits, adopt the ones that will work for you. It shows that youâre open to new ideas and positive influences. Your boss might even feel flattered that you recognize his or her professional value, and this common thread may draw the two of you closer together. Winning the favor of your boss is something of a process â" it may not happen in a month or two, but itâs around the bend if youâre willing to commit yourself to pursuing this favor in the long term. Stick to new habits or better practices. Everyone will notice. About Evie: Evie Cooper is a Team Leader, a careers blogger, and a huge fan of self-improvement and constant growth. Tips for Writing an Essay
Tips for Writing an Essay Throughout your many years of school, you will never avoid the essay assignment. This will be thrown at you over and over and over so many times that youll eventually look back and find yourself in disbelief that youve actually written that many essays. Whether youre analyzing literature for an English class, writing personal statements for college applications, or taking a stance on an issue for an ACT writing task, you are going to need the same set of fierce writing skills to compose a well-structured and logical essay. Some people have a better knack for writing than others and those natural inclinations cannot be taught but there are certain mechanics that if taken seriously, can allow anybody to put together a solid piece of writing. Identify the point of each paragraph. No matter how well-written an essay is, the greatness will be completely lost if the piece is dangerously unorganized. No one likes to read through an essay that sounds like a persons rambling inner thoughts with no clear direction. So prior to beginning each paragraph, ask yourself exactly what point you are trying to get across and then spend the duration of that paragraph covering that specific topic and only that specific topic. This will make your reasoning for the overall essay ten times easier to understand because the reader will be able to digest each part of it separately, one section at a time. You are eliminating the chances of a reader getting lost and not being able to process the ideas smoothly. Organize those points effectively. If your paragraphs are not placed in a logical order, that confusion you were hoping to get rid of will, in fact, arise. English teachers have been training you how to do this since elementary school, however, so it is likely you wont have an issue with it. But just incase, heres a reminder of the simple 5-paragraph essay a structure you can almost always count on to work for your essays purpose. Begin with an introductory paragraph that gives some brief context for what overall topic you will be addressing and then wrap it up with a thesis statement summarizing the points you will be making in your body paragraphs and how they will prove your main claim on the big subject. Follow up with these three separate body paragraphs, each addressing a point you identified previously; just make sure they are following each other in a subsequent order so each paragraph supports information from the one before it. Finally, end with your conclusion paragraph, re-stating your thesis and summing up what was said in your body paragraphs. Describing the elements of this well-known essay structure may seem silly, but its actually beneficial to be thoroughly reminded of its aspects since you may naturally want to breeze through it and unintentionally end up forgetting some of its key steps. Have a Thesaurus open and handy (a book or the website). Especially when youve been writing for hours on end and are getting tired and bored, youll be more likely to repeat words too frequently. As you are writing each individual sentence, it may not seem like a bad idea to describe things as intriguing, but when you look back and read through every sentence at a normal pace and see that word over and over, it will just be awkward and hurt the smooth flow you want your essay to have. So if you find yourself wanting to describe your points with the same handful of adjectives, go to your helpful resource for synonyms and save your essay from mediocrity. Read your words aloud. You will get such a better grasp of how your essay sounds and comes across if you speak your words out loud. It will give you a great idea of how the essay sounds off paper and in the mind of a person reading it. While youre at it, do your best to put yourself in the shoes of the teacher or proctor who will be grading it so you can keep their mindset prominent as you digest these words. After all, what matters is that it sounds good to them since theyre the ones judging it. Another tip to successful writing think about your audience. Proofread and edit. It is perfectly understandable that youll be extremely anxious to dot and cross those last is and ts and turn this essay in the moment you have finished. But little grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes are bound to happen along the way and youll never catch them if you dont dedicate a final read-through to simply searching for these errors. It may be the last thing youll want to do at that moment, but it could turn your essay from good to great. Youll be very happy later on that you put forth this extra effort. By focusing on these steps as you write, you will create an interesting essay that flows well and truly makes sense. Treat your essay as something you are building that you want to look fantastic these are your tools for successful construction.
